I recently contacted 'Bake with Love,' a bakery located in Narayananagaram, to place an order for a 1kg white forest cake for delivery to Kurumbayil. The total cost of the cake was ₹650, and an additional ₹100 was charged for delivery, which seemed excessive considering the distance between the bakery and my location is approximately 4.1 kilometers. When I inquired about the delivery charge, the customer service representative was cooperative and understanding, even suggesting that I could contact another bakery if I preferred. However, the issue arose with the delivery man, named Valsan who was inflexible and insisted on the original charge of ₹100 despite my explanation that it was unreasonable. Given the short distance, I believe a more reasonable delivery charge would be in the range of ₹50-60. Valsan's attitude and insistence on the higher charge were disappointing, especially considering the customer service representative's initial cooperation. To improve customer satisfaction and fairness, I would suggest the following: 1. Transparent delivery charges: Clearly display delivery charges based on distance or weight to avoid confusion. 2. Reasonable pricing: Review delivery charges to ensure they are competitive and fair, especially for short distances. 3. Customer-centric approach: Ensure that all staff, including delivery personnel, are trained to be empathetic and flexible when dealing with customer concerns. 4. Action against unprofessional behavior: Consider taking disciplinary action against the Valsan for his behavior, as it reflects poorly on the bakery's customer service. By implementing these improvements, 'Bake with Love' can enhance customer experience, build trust, and maintain a positive reputation in the market

Bake with Love is truly a gem in Vadakara The moment you step in, you're welcomed by the warm aroma of freshly baked goodies. Their cakes are soft, flavorful, and always beautifully Presented they also have a good selection of snacks and pastries, all fresh and reasonably priced. The staff is polite and helpful, and the shop maintains great hygiene. A must-visit for anyone who loves quality baked treats. Highly recommended.
