Totally disappointed visit to Mandi Manzil (Kadapakkada/Kollam)! We ordered a half honey alfahm mandi yesterday and were very let down. While the portion size of the chicken was adequate, it was overcooked and burned. To make matters worse, the chicken was absolutely full of heavy food coloring that wouldn't wash off my fingers even after scrubbing multiple times with soap. Our experience didn't improve at lunch. When we visited around 1 pm, we were told the tomato chutney wasn't ready and would take another hour. That's unacceptable for a key condiment during prime lunch hours. The rice and mayonnaise were also very average but the cucumber served was nice. Overall, a poor experience. The Mevaram outlet is far, far better than this particular location.
