Visited Backstage Lounge & Bar with a female friend, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The ambience felt more like a local, budget bar than a proper lounge, which was disappointing. One of the staff members, a short-statured man (mentioning only to help the management identify him) repeatedly pointed out the prices of items even though we had the menu in front of us. His tone and constant smiling felt a bit mocking, which made us uncomfortable. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the food was okay not great, but passable. The DJ didn’t start until 10:45 PM. When we finally thought of going to the dance floor, there were two older men seated on the side sofa staring at us, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We left shortly after without dancing. If you’re looking for a place with good vibes, decent crowd, and a welcoming atmosphere, I’d recommend skipping this one.
