Very Disappointed – Declining Quality and Uncooked Food This is not my first visit to Shri Ramdeobab Dhaba, but it will definitely be my last. I had gone especially for Dal Bati, but the experience was utterly disappointing. • Bati was completely uncooked from the inside. They tried to mask it by adding excess haldi (turmeric) to give a “cooked” look — clearly assuming customers wouldn’t complain. But the truth was obvious from the first bite. • Dal lacked flavor and didn’t match the traditional taste expected from a place that claims Rajasthani-style food. • Jeera rice was served cold — not room temperature, literally cold as if it came from the fridge. It’s sad to see a once-decent place compromise so badly on quality. Either the management has changed or they’ve stopped caring about customer satisfaction. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant for Dal Bati anymore. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

If you’re craving authentic Rajasthani food, Shree Baba Ramdev Dhaba is a great place to try. Their Dal Bati Thali is the highlight—flavorful dal, crispy yet soft baati, and a generous serving of ghee. I also tried their Rajwadi Thali and Dry Fruit Churma, both were delicious. The place gets very crowded, especially on weekends, so be prepared for a wait. Service is quick but could be more efficient. The ambience is simple, with indoor, outdoor, and AC seating options. Parking is limited, which can be a bit inconvenient. Overall, the food is amazing, and if you're trying Dal Bati for the first time, this is a great place to start. Prices are reasonable, though desserts are slightly on the expensive side. Despite the rush and parking issues, the taste makes it worth a visit. Would definitely recommend it to Dal Bati lovers!
