This is a small joint wherein they serve various types of misals. Misal is a traditional Marathi breakfast or snack item. It is a curry made of beans, topped with farsan, and served with a bread called pav.
I had the following items:
1) Special dum Matka misal
It had a unique smoky taste to it. It had just the right amount of spices and quite an earthy flavour. It comes with two pavs (bread), a sweet dish and chass. The curry provided along with it is unlimited. It is a must-try.
2) Chapati Bhaji
They served us two chapatis with a dry and a wet bhaji. The taste was rather homely.
I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Panvel.
