After a walk around French Institute, many visitors stop by this cafe. Ignore other places, discover the Vegetarian menu at Bread & Chocolate. Tasty butter croissants, vegetable pizza and salads might be what you need. Don't forget to taste nicely cooked chocolate sandwiches, chocolate croissants and baklava at this place. Good green smoothies, iced coffee or cold coffee are worth trying here.

dunno why is this place so much hyped at instagram? very average food. they dint even have the microwave to warm the croissant. cheese sandwich also not good. definitely worth a miss if you visit pondy

Decent but Overhyped Bread & Chocolate has a nice ambiance, and the hot chocolate and pesto veg pizza were great. However, the Mediterranean and BBQ sandwich was bland, and the Bombay sandwich was just potato-heavy, despite the sourdough. The dip was good, but overall, the food felt underwhelming. The Coke float wasn’t great either. It gets very crowded on weekends, so expect a wait. Worth a visit for certain items, but not everything lives up to the hype.
