Had an amazing experience at Big Bite, Marcel! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Goan dishes had a perfect local touch, and the staff were super warm and attentive. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant — perfect for both family dinners and casual hangouts. I came to try this restaurant on my own thinking it would be a great place to enjoy with friends in future. The food was really good, but the service was very strange. I asked for a glass of water and they said they would bring me bottled water. I said tap water will be fine. I overheard a discussion with the manager and waitress about how that is not allowed. The waitress came over and told me that my water would be brought to me soon. The manager came by and told me the same thing. Halfway through my meal I asked for my water again and finally a glass of water was delivered with a scowl. I paid my bill up at the desk and did not look at it till later and found that I was charged $2.49 for my glass of water. The service made me feel so bad, like I had asked for something totally unreasonable. The food is lovely, but the sullen, unfriendly service will keep me from returning or bringing friends there.
