1) Smokey Chicken Strips - Got 7 pieces each about the size of an adult's index finger and middle finger put together, flat cut, mildly hot and spicy. The flesh was neat and easy to chew but was not juicy. Since I like it more juicy and hot I'm only giving this one a 6/10.
2) Slow cooked drumsticks - 2 pieces of chicken drumsticks, irregularly smoked (slightly), mildly juicy & spicy and unlike the usual way, the flesh seemed like it was uncut (for the flavours to spread into it). But overall, it tasted good. I'll give it a 7/10.
Maybe, I might've felt better, about both the dishes, had I ate at the outlet instead of door delivery.
The BBQ mayo was perfect. Not sure if it was bought or made, but it had the right texture and spicy taste. A relief from the usual white mayo that is abundantly available everywhere else.
Both the dishes costed ₹120. Although the quantity was less and the size of the pieces were small, I'd say this is a good alternative to other premium BBQ places in the city.
My suggestion, they should focus on increasing that tangy flavour of the smoked dishes as well as on the final presentation. The smoking, taste and texture of the flesh is all fine, but it's just that the essence of the dish as a whole was not completely enjoyable. Also, adding more dishes to the menu would be a welcoming move.
If you're not too much worried about the details within the dish, then just give it a try. It's pretty good.
