I recently visited Balan Dosa at 4D Square, Motera, and I must say — this place is a hidden gem for lovers of South Indian food with a modern touch. ️ What We Ordered: We went for their Mysore Masala Dosa (₹189) and Veg Pulav (₹149), and both dishes exceeded expectations. The dosa had a crisp outer layer with just the right amount of spice and flavor inside — not too oily, and served with a trio of freshly made chutneys that really brought it all together. The Veg Pulav was visually appealing (as seen in the photo) and cooked to perfection — mildly spicy, aromatic, and served with a generous helping of chopped onions, lemon, and a spicy red chutney on the side. the food not only tasted great but looked just as appetizing. Presentation was clean, and portions were satisfying. ️ Ambience & Decor: The ambience is absolutely charming. The wall art and subtle South Indian-themed interior (see attached photo) adds to the vibe and gives the place a colorful and cultural identity. Whether you're visiting casually or on a family dinner, the environment makes you feel relaxed. Staff & Service: The staff was very polite, attentive, and well-trained. They greeted us warmly and made sure everything was timely. In today's time, good hospitality makes a big difference — and Balan Dosa stands out in that regard. Pricing & Value: Yes, GST was additional — but considering the taste, hygiene, ambience, and service, the prices are absolutely justified. Final Verdict: Balan Dosa is not just about dosas — it's about a complete South Indian experience. From authentic flavors to modern plating and professional service, everything clicks together beautifully. Highly recommended if you're in or around Motera. Will definitely revisit soon!
