Besides Edappally Church Complex, visit BACCHUS LOUNGE in the vicinity. Perfectly cooked chilli beef, seafood and chilli chicken are among the dishes to be ordered at this bar. You will hardly forget delicious beer that you can degust.

Musicians make live music in the evening. The staff is said to be attentive here. The fine service is a big plus of BACCHUS LOUNGE. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are democratic. To be frank, I haven't dared to try any restobars other than Hive, Rocks & Brews, etc, as it is close to our office and flats. But my colleague suggested Bacchus, and we decided to check this out last week. Yes, it is within the busy circle of Kochi, still well placed to be a relaxing spot by night. Live music, nice ambiance, and good menu, these were more than enough for us to spend some quality hours with our colleagues. Starting from garden salad and fries, our orders ranged to their special beef and chicken fry and from signature and beer to multiple rounds of tequila shots. Out of beef and chicken fries, chicken lollipop, honey glazed pork, and chili fish, the braised chili fish was the most sought-after one. Now, we have added Bacchus Lounge to our so-called cooling spot. Except for the drive through the busy traffic to reach there, the rest was all good for us. Enough parking space. Accepts all mode of payment. Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

There were just 2 of us. When we walked in there were probably 3 tables that were occupied. We were asked to sit near the band and right next to the match that was being projected on a big screen. I declined and said I'd rather sit next to the window. I was rudely told no and you can leave if you can't sit where you are told. Akhil is the name of this wonderful gentleman. Then a lady there asked what happened and she said it might get crowded and asked me to speak to the counter. I asked them and they did not have a clear answer. I just said I don't understand the logic hence asked and based on your reply I'd decide to stay or leave. They then said to sit where ever we wanted.

With hardly 10 ppl there at the time not sure what the fuss was about. We left around 10:15 and at any given point there were more than 4-5 tables free. So the crowd never came I guess

I can understand why. The staff are rude. At this price point you are paying for the service and ambience.

Service is absolutely pathetic.
They are rude and takes 10mins to get a beer. Reason there are just 2 people they said

Ambience - It is ok ok. I've been to better places. Live music was too loud and they were literally killing the songs. They were that bad.

Food - Options are very limited and overpriced

Drinks - Very limited options. Half the items are not available. Prices are more that what it should be.

I was expecting this to be an upscale place with good food and service. Sadly this is worse than the worst local bar that you can find.

So save yourself the trouble and money and stay away from this place.
