Our main objective was to drive to a dhaba for a mast lunch. We decided to go to this place in December,2014. There is nothing attractive about this place. I remember ordering Gobi Parantha and Keema Muttor, and which were really good. The paranthas were soft. The lassi was no doubt amazing, thick and tasty. I hop nobody saw that white layer of moustache on my upper lip. LOL!After all that good food, I felt the place lacked cleanliness. The tables were dirty and so were the benches. The glasses were old and unclean. This place is not bounded in four walls, hence, I wonder how they manage during the rainy season.Anybody planning for a good meal little away from the city, can drop in here anytime for some finger licking menus.

This outlet of Azad Hind Dhaba can be termed as best long drive place from kolkata. Long Drive & this place have some extraordinary combination. From breakfast to dinner whenever you feel grab your automobile key & just visit this place. It's open 24 hours but items availability varies from time to time.It is located on the kona expressway (Delhi Road), in the route of Durgapur/ Bardhaman. Road is excellent so just drive safe you will reach here. Ample car/Bike parking space available.Ambience is very ordinary with outdoor & indoor seating facility. Outdoor seating is very limited & indoor is divided into 2 portions A.C. & Non A.C. Food prices are higher for A.C. section.In food & Drinks I ordered -1. Aloo Paratha2. Onion Paratha3. Masala Dosa4. Aloo Do payaza5. Black TeaThe parathas are made in highway style. It's roasted not fried & tastes good with butter over it. It's little dry so ordere aloo do payaza which was great but little sweet. Masala dosa was also good but the aloo stuffing inside it was sweet, it's served with sambhar & coconut chutney. Black tea was really excellent.So go once & experience it. Hope you will enjoy it. Prices are moderate so it won't hit your pocket much but quality is on the downside according to price. For long drives recommended.
