Worst food ever I had recently. We have ordered, nonveg meals, biryani, vanjaram and mutton chukka. They are charging 180rs for nonveg meals but the meals is not at all worth for that amount. Briyani - worst. It is not a biryani it is just a masala rice. Vanjaram - 240rs but it is like a normal catla fish. Mutton chukka - all the mutton pieces are very hard and dry it seems like very old meat. They not even having proper billing system they are simply providing bill in normal school children ruled paper. Over all very very bad experience, we simply wasted 810rs. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000

Worst worst worst.... Unfortunately we visited this hotel, because of the name chettinad.. Surprisingly no one was there while we entered .. Low quality street food was served here....

Long neutral review - Ayyanar mess 18 Dec 21 1pm It's very tough to write negative review. Most of the times I think this should be one of case and let it go. However this is about a new hotel, started in Oct 2021, Ayyanar mess, RS Puram. We had an appointment in one of the thousand dermatology clinic and as I missed to have breakfast, I opted to have lunch in the pristine hotels of RS Puram amidst the protest of my wife that she had already made Tomato Biryani. Chose Ayyanar mess, ordered a Mutton biryani and Parotta as the combos were not in full fledge yet. Me, my wife and two kids stared when Biryani, Parotta, Kesari, Egg gravy and onion raitha everything came in a big hostel plate. The servers obliged to bring extra plates. Biryani had two pieces of mutton. Looking at the variety, quantity and veg gurma they gave, I ordered for one more biryani and mutton Chukka. The next biryani that came, it came alone. No Kesari and no egg side dish. By the time mutton Chukka came we finished our lunch. And to our dismay it was spoiled. They didn't charge for the same. I can hear my wife smiling in her mind voice. While returning the was a poster requesting us to review them on Facebook. And while looking at Ayyanar I realised he's not the owner but a recent customer. I consider this neutral review because, let us give them time to establish themselves and come back strong. However, I have to appreciate the tomato Biryani tonight in home.
