It all came down to SINQ when we planned for our night out and the reviews as well the pictures in Google with a big pool and stuff made us think okay why not ?!. It was my sister's bday as well and we planned to celebrate it in the pub. We reached SINQ around 9 and the folks told it would be up by 10-10:30, though there were a meagre inflow into the pub. Check out for more of my reviews in SINQ's page if they haven't removed mine for being blunt and honest.!
That is how we checked out the near by restaurant -- Avozin Cuisine. One main thing I would like to point out is the fact that they are very sloppy in customer service as we have to literally go n poke the chef to get our meals ready on table. We tried various Goan delicacies such as squid / fish combos and even chicken sandwich. The restaurant is okayish/decent to put it and not that wow ; hence the 3-3.5 rating my side. It offers a serene and collected ambience and yes with a restroom as well which helps divas to change into their party attires from their regular mahila outlooks :'). Nonetheless I believe the folks still need to work on their customer service.
Amazing Goan Food - cooked with a lot of effort.
Could do with a couple of more hands for faster service
Otherwise real amazing preparations.
We tried the Prawn Vindaloo curry(the spice level could be improved was too sweet for the regular east/south palatte)
Veg Xacuti -5/5
Mackerel Curry - 4/5
Mackerel Rawa Fry - 5/5
Prawn Rawa Fry - 5/5
Pomfret Richado - 5/5 ( Authentic Goan Preparation with adequate use of spices used for the perfect taste and aroma)
The prices were kind of flexible - more towards the higher side and little unreasonable - something they need to work.
I had Pork chilli fry and it was worst as hell. Next i had Chicken fried rice and I don't wanna say anything anymore. I ain't gonna come back here anymore. Well it costs 200 for that rice only FYI.
