We were at Avinya cafe for lunch. Mooli parantha, Aalu Parantha, onion parantha, paneer sazbi, rotis, daal tadka, jeera rice, butter milk, rice, rasam was what we had together as group. Each item is well-made, just the right amount of spices. The butter milk was sure refreshing. For take-away, the cafe folks obliged us with samosas since we were craving for it. Yummilicious it was! Now for the ambience, you would get a virtual tour of Mysuru city on the ethnic sketches on the walls of this lovely cafe. The red oxide flooring, beautifully done interiors while retaining the old-world charm adds to the dining experience. Not to forget the pleasant old Hindi numbers being played, we also get to know about the history of this building and its erstwhile owners (interesting story, read it, it is only display in the dining area) Don't miss the fun R.K Narayan quotes :) A huge thanks to the folks who put together this nice food place in Saraswathipuram, easy access from all parts of Mysuru city.
