My husband had a very generous portion of rava fried prawns, French fries and salad and I had fish thali, both dishes were delicious. Service was excellent and all for a very reasonable price. Thank you to all the staff at Avinash Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Prawn Rawa Fry, Fish Thali

Located in Divar Island this place stands tall amidst open rice fields and splendid isolation. You look at plantain fronds being the window and at a higher expanse of verdure being those leaves. Inside the restaurant the aroma is rich with the essence of Goan food. Everything’s decently priced. The people are extra friendly, like most island people. You can tank up your bike in case you want fuel (the island has no fuel pump as far as I could tell). It’s a bit like a chandler’s! The place is iconic, and the food lives up to your expectations. And the atmosphere adds that little bit extra. Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish Thali, Squids Butter Garlic

Avinash bar and restaurant - a hidden gem of a place on Divar island, Goa! We had the normal fish thalis and the special fish thali which had a huge piece of rawa fried chonok fish. The fish curry was authentic. The veggie sides and the kismoor were delicious. Will surely go there every time i am in goa. The owner avinash is a courteous and polite guy. Service took a bit long but i guess you wait patiently for good things in life! Vegetarian options: Mostly Chinese Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400
