I read many negative reviews here but glad that I read them after I visited the place. I didn't find the service poor.. neither the food quality not the quantity was bad.. the food actually impressed me with the fact that it was served in Patna. the fish n chips were awesome. the Nadru kabab.. the pizza.. noodles.. everything was top notch. Tomorrow is my anniversary and I already booked a table

We recently visited Austaara - Fine Dine & Cafe with my friends, drawn by the numerous positive reviews I had heard about the place. Unfortunately our experience was far from satisfactory and left us deeply disappointed. We ordered a variety of dishes including Cheese Fondue, Nadru Galouti Kebab and Murgh Malai Kebab. While I typically focus my reviews on the quality of the food, today I feel compelled to address the unprofessional and discourteous behavior we encountered from the staff. Upon ordering, we requested normal tap water, a basic amenity that should be readily available at any dining establishment. To our dismay, the staff flatly refused to serve tap water, insisting that they only provide bottled water . We reminded them that, according to Indian consumer law, it is mandatory for all eateries and restaurants to offer free drinking water to their patrons. Despite this, they continued to deny our request, seemingly unaware of the legal obligation they were neglecting. According to the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, it is incumbent upon restaurants to provide free drinking water. Their ignorance or disregard for such a fundamental consumer right is alarming and reflects poorly on their understanding of the service industry. We have since filed a formal complaint regarding this incident. This review serves as a reminder to Austaara about the importance of adhering to laws and regulations and respecting the rights of consumers. Running a successful business in the service industry requires more than just serving good food, it demands respect for and adherence to consumer rights and a professional attitude towards patrons.
