Bangalore is rich in its cultural values and traditional ethics.
Also the growth of technology and being an IT Hub Bangalore hosts people not just from other parts of India but all across the world.
Thus being the cosmo city and the IT center, there is a constant demand for local as well as Global cuisine.
The growing demand for diversified food in Bangalore gave way to ‘Auntie Fungs’ which started in 2015.
It is a Hip, Casual Restaurant showcasing authentic and classic Asian street food such as Bao, Dimsums, khao suey, Ramen, Yakitori and more.
A true Pan-Asian fare that is sure to tingle your taste buds, satisfy your tummy and keep you wanting for more. Auntie Fung’s is taking you on an eclectic tour around Asia, a feast for all your senses.
Their philosophy is to break stereotypes and taking Indians beyond Manchurian, Auntie Fung’s captures the essence of Pan-Asian cuisine with an optimised menu mix.
Few days back we got a chance to order Dinner from Auntie Fung’s. We tried the below menu items.
Everything was super delicious and neatly packed. The packaging was spot on and no spillage.
What we liked the most was that they use Fresh Ingredients, authentic and home style recipes, large portion size and no MSG used.
It’s truly a delight and one must try them for sure. Bangalore now has a great Pan-Asian restaurant and will be ordering from them again and again for sure.
Weekend went well with tasty food from Auntie Fung's authentic pan Asian restaurants. If you are a lover of Asian cuisine this place is for you !
The chicken dimsums, the sriracha bao was so delectable pork version is also available. The dimsums was with rice coating that makes it a little more healthier. The Thai nam prik chicken was my favourite. So tender chicken with a distinct flavour of lemon grass. Coming to the Burmese khao suey, the gravy was thick full of chicken pieces and veggies and a distinct flavour of coconut milk is there. Served with it was thin noodles and seasonings. Loved it.
Also an experimental dish was Japanese Raman. Full of chicken veggies, egg. This dish had a pungent smell of herbs and sauces. People who love authentic Japanese food would like this a lot . But it was a healthy soupy noodles.
If you are a fan of authentic asian food then this the place for you.
They serve some really amazing asian dishes, from which i tried their:
1. Burmese khowsuey soup: its a complete meal made with coconut milk, chicken and vegetables and topped with noodles, fried onion garlic, lemon, spring onion.
2. Sriracha chicken bao: soft bao's filled with juicy Sriracha chicken and with some pickles in it taste perfect.
3. Thai nam prik Chicken: it was my favourite, chicken was cooked perfectly with thai flavours in it. A must try.
4. Crystal dimsum chicken: a crystal clear Chicken dimsum with chilli oil with flakes in it tasted delicious.
5. Japanese Chicken ramen: i loved it to the core because of its light and delicious flavours.
It was an amazing experience from auntie fungs their packaging is really good and food quality is amazing.
