During our recent visit to Kumaraguru College in Coimbatore, my cousins and I were looking for a vegetarian restaurant nearby and came across Shri Amutheesar Veg Restaurant. We decided to try their South Indian thali. The restaurant's ambience was good and had a cozy vibe. However, the taste of the food was below average, and we were disappointed with the overall quality of the dishes. The pickles were not fresh and had a stale taste, which detracted from the overall experience. We also had to wait for curd, which was not available at the time of serving and was later bought from outside and served to us. While the taste of the food was not impressive, the service provided by the staff was above average. They were prompt in attending to our needs and making sure we were comfortable. The payasam was too sweet for our liking and did not meet our expectations. Overall, we found Shri Amutheesar Veg Restaurant to be an average place to dine. While the ambience was good and the service was decent, the taste of the food and the quality of the pickles left much to be desired.
