I recently visited Asian Flare and tried their Mixed Hakka Noodles, Hunan Fish, and Thai Chili Coconut Shrimps. Overall, the experience was fine, though not particularly memorable. The Mixed Hakka Noodles were decent, with a fair balance of vegetables and meat, but the flavors leaned on the milder side, lacking the punch and wok-char that usually defines good hakka-style noodles. The Hunan Fish stood out a bit more—tender and well-cooked fillets in a slightly spicy sauce. The taste was pleasant, though it felt more generic than authentic, and could have used a stronger depth of seasoning. The Thai Chili Coconut Shrimps were probably the best of the three. The creamy coconut base paired nicely with the chili kick, though the shrimp portion felt a little modest for the price. Service was polite and the ambience comfortable, but nothing about the meal made the restaurant feel exceptional. A decent option if you’re in the mood for pan-Asian food, but not quite a place I’d go out of my way for.
