Ashok Vegetarian Restaurant is pretty near Gurudwara Shri Singh Sabha. Great coffee is the right choice. Based on the guests' opinions, the staff can be courteous. In spite of the popularity among clients, the weak side of this restaurant is its spectacular service. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, prices are low. As visitors' reviews demonstrate, sometimes the atmosphere at Ashok Vegetarian Restaurant can be exotic. This place hasn't got a high rating from Google users.

Food was average, overpriced for the standard, can't even say the ambience catered for the high price, it's equally bad. I Do not recommend it, the waiter seemed to lose his cool if you repeated something thrice, most of the things I asked were not available. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

In last 5 years I came to Nanital 3 times and each time I visited this Restaurant. This Restaurant is centrally located in Nanital. This time I visited in November 2021. I must say they need to work in taste and quality of food served. What I found wrong that this place need to be clean and hygiene. When we visited, we had to ask to clean our table, even after that they just did formality to clean table. We ordered Dosa and Janta Thali. Dosa, Sambhar & Coconut chutney were below average and Thali was average. I will advice Ashok Vegetarian Restaurant to please work on cleanliness and food quality. And Waiters were not wearing clean cloths, this is owner responsibility to provide them clean cloths or ask them to join duty in clean cloths. Owner of Restaurant is very humble and polite.
