Visitors book a table for tasty dishes here and enjoy the sights of Harishchandra Ghat. Trying nicely cooked paneer, roti and naan is a pleasant experience here. A number of guests mark that the staff is cheerful here. A lot of people find that the service is terrific. From the guests' point of view, prices are attractive. When you enter this place, you notice the spectacular atmosphere. But google users haven't given this restaurant a high rating.

Our experience at Ashok Restaurant in Varanasi with you guys. So, here's the scoop: we arrived in Varanasi late on our first night, and our hotel suggested Ashok Restaurant because they were one of the few places still open. When we got there, they were just about to close, but they kindly offered to whip up some takeout for us. We decided to go for Matar Paneer and Mixed Vegetables, and boy, were we pleasantly surprised. The food was not just good and filling. After a long day of travel, that's exactly what we needed. Our initial experience was positive that we decided to give Ashok Restaurant another shot a few nights later for a proper dinner service. And, guess what? The food was just as delicious as we remembered. Now, let's address the elephant in the room (or should I say, the insects). Look, we're not the squeamish type, and we get it – Varanasi is an ancient city with all the critters that come with it. But here's a little suggestion for Ashok Restaurant: a regular dose of insecticide might do wonders. It's not about being picky; it's about creating a more comfortable dining atmosphere. But despite this minor hiccup, the fact that we came back for seconds says it all. The food was top-notch, and we left satisfied both times. So, if you're in Varanasi and in need of some tasty grub, Ashok Restaurant is worth a visit. Just maybe bring some bug spray with you – better safe than sorry!
