Ashok Restaurant is pretty near Harishchandra Ghat. This restaurant offers nicely cooked paneer, roti and naan. From the guests' point of view, the staff is rough here. Our experience at Ashok Restaurant in Varanasi with you guys. So, here's the scoop: we arrived in Varanasi late on our first night, and our hotel suggested Ashok Restaurant because they were one of the few places still open. When we got there, they were just about to close, but they kindly offered to whip up some takeout for us. We decided to go for Matar Paneer and Mixed Vegetables, and boy, were we pleasantly surprised. The food was not just good and filling. After a long day of travel, that's exactly what we needed. Our initial experience was positive that we decided to give Ashok Restaurant another shot a few nights later for a proper dinner service. And, guess what?
