Blink and miss kind of place in Pali. This is where you go when you want really good food and nothing else. Great parsi food, and amazing sandwiches too. The owner is damn sweet and had good recommendations too.

This is highly reviewed everywhere and thus I decided to give this a shot. Ashmick's Snack Shack is a tiny eatery with enough seating if you don't mind the adventurous meal. The menu looks mouthwatering with delicacies like Dhanshak and Salli Boti. Unfortunately, I only ordered the Chicken Farcha (which came highly recommended as well). The one piece of chicken was greasy and dry and honestly, not very appetizing. Surprisingly, the Ham roll I ordered for my daughter was fabulous (ham and caramelized onion in a soft hot dog bun). I added the slaw and the shredded chicken from the Farcha to the roll and ate that instead. Will give it one more shot for the gravies but on the verge of writing it off...

Update:
I felt generous today and decided to give Ashmick's one last chance. And thank god I did. The Sali Boti is redemption on a plate. The mutton cooked just right, the gravy perfectly balancing the vinegar and the sweetness. Do try it.
