I recently dined at Ashirwad Hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian options failed to meet even basic expectations, leading to an overall unpleasant meal. Starting with the vegetarian dishes, the menu seemed promising but the execution was severely lacking. The vegetable curry I ordered was bland, with undercooked vegetables and a watery sauce that tasted as if it came from a can. The supposedly fresh salad was anything but – wilted lettuce, tasteless tomatoes, and a dressing that was overly sour. Even the simplest dish, the naan bread, was dry and burnt in places. The non-vegetarian options were equally underwhelming. I tried the chicken tikka masala, which was a major letdown. The chicken was tough and dry, and the sauce lacked the rich, creamy texture and complex flavors that this dish typically boasts. The seafood platter was another disappointment; the shrimp were rubbery and the fish tasted suspiciously old, leaving a bad aftertaste. Service was another low point. The staff appeared disinterested and inattentive. Our waiter was slow to take our order, and even slower to bring our food, which arrived lukewarm. When we pointed out the issues with our dishes, our concerns were met with indifference and no attempts were made to rectify the situation. The ambiance of the restaurant did little to improve the experience. The dining area was dimly lit, making it difficult to see the menu or food clearly, and the overall cleanliness was questionable, with sticky tables and crumbs on the floor. In conclusion, Ashirwad Hotel failed to deliver on both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fronts, with lackluster food, poor service, and a less-than-pleasant atmosphere. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
