A place that may seem a bit tricky to find, that surely finds a place in one's return list rather easily. This beautifully designed cafe beside the library at the Goethe Institut has both an indoor and a wonderful balcony seating to begin with. An average wait time later, one can expect to be greeted with some even more wonderful food. I had the tingmo with chicken, kothe momos and a milkshake. The tingmo was soft, moist and complimented perfectly with the chicken. The momo was extravagant with juices oozing out of it with an array of flavours. The prices may seem slightly more considering the quantity, but for me it was covered by the taste and the presentation of the food. Located inside Goethe-Institut, Max Muller Bhavan at Park street, it's a bit hard to find, but nonetheless the atmosphere is cozy and classy. This branch of the Art cafe is smaller in comparison to the Lake Market one. Though the service was slow, it was worth it, as the food they serve is delicious. They specialises in Himalayan cuisine and doesn't disappoint. The menu doesn't burn a hole in the pocket either. The kothey momos were very juicy and flavourful, it's a must try here. Same for the chicken shapta with soft fluffy tingmo buns - delectable! The iced matcha latte was refreshing. To sum up, this cafe is a must visit place if you are willing to expore the flavours of Kalimpong in Kolkata. Art Cafe - Cafe Mueller has a wonderful, subtle charm about it. The food is exquisite. The special momos (Kothay, Jhol) are indeed art in themselves, transporting you to the Kalimpong hills with their authentic flavours. The carrot cake is an absolute must-try, even better with their awesome coffee. All food served with love. Tucked away in the historic Goethe Institute of Calcutta, it's as cozy as a place can be, with a minimalist decor that blends rustic charm and an intellectual vibe!
