We recently visited a dhaba near the toll plaza on NH28 in Basti and had a great experience. We tried the Chicken Bhuna, Daal Fry, Aloo Matar Tamatar, and tandoori roti. The portion sizes for the half plates were generous—perfectly enough for our group of four. The food was delicious, and the flavors were on point! The only thing we felt was missing was a true dhaba vibe; it had more of a restaurant atmosphere, so there wasn’t the usual option to sit outside and relax.
