It might be a typical restaurant in Pathanamthitta town, but I visited it as part of a package tour, so I didn’t have control over the food choices. I’d rate the dining experience around 4.5 out of 10. A fixed menu was served to about 30 people, but nothing stood out. The breakfast at 7 AM was cold, which was quite disappointing. There seemed to be no effort to improve the food or service, and the dining atmosphere felt cold and unwelcoming. The taste and quality of the food were below average, which was surprising given they had a decent dining space and kitchen. I truly hope the restaurant steps up and begins serving hot dishes like puttu or idiyappam with flavorful curries—something everyone would look forward to on a beautiful morning. Aroma Restaurant has quickly become my ideal spot for breakfast. The food quality consistently impresses me, especially their idiyappam and chicken curry combo — it's absolutely delicious and feels perfectly homemade. I also love their strong tea, which complements the meal beautifully and sets the right tone for the rest of the day. Every dish I've tried so far has been flavorful and well-prepared, making Aroma a go-to place whenever I crave a hearty, satisfying breakfast. The only drawback is the parking situation; finding a good spot can sometimes be a challenge, especially during busy hours. However, the food and service more than make up for it. If you’re looking for authentic flavors and a cozy breakfast experience, Aroma is definitely worth a visit!
