We had visited Ariko Cafe with lots of expectations, but the overall experience was quite underwhelming. Every bread was toasted super hard and almost burnt - the mushroom sandwich base, the bread that comes with the soup, the French baguette based veg dish, and even the 2 bagels. While the bagels were mercifully not burnt through, they were were very stiff and hard to eat. All of us are nursing sore and swollen palets now! Another super low light was that every mushroom was stale, dehydrated, and sort of burnt out and bitter. To boot, the service was super late (even though the restaurant was empty), and erroneous (e.g., the accompanying bread came after we finished the soup!).
