The food was a collection of disappointments. The Alfaham chicken was unfortunately burned in some areas, imparting a bitter, charred taste that overpowered any potential flavor. The promised spices were barely discernible, leaving the meat bland and dry in the overcooked sections. The idiyappam was noticeably not fresh. It had a slightly dry, almost stale texture, lacking the soft, delicate springiness of freshly made idiyappam. It felt like it had been sitting for a while, absorbing the ambient air and losing its moisture. While technically edible, the meal was far from enjoyable. It was a series of culinary missteps, resulting in a forgettable and ultimately disappointing dining experience. Everything was consistently... average, but in a way that highlighted the lack of care, quality and also expensive.
