Chai Kada (ചായ കട) means Tea Stall. True to the name the shop is most.famous for the evening snacks which mostly cater to the palate the stomach and of course the waistline. You can get piping hot snacks, but more about that another day. Today it's all about the Sunday Special - Biriyani! It's a word of mouth menu item, available only on Sunday afternoon and made to orders placed usually the day before. Ready by 1:30 and disappears within a hour too! They serve Chicken Biriyani and Mutton Biriyani (limited quantities) It's best piping hot, and is flavourful with pudina, cashew nuts and ghee fried shallot onions sprinkled on the top. Highly recommended, go for it!
