I recently visited Apni Rasoi in Nangloi and honestly the taste of the food was good, but the portion size in the thali was extremely disappointing, especially considering the price of ₹200. The biggest issue was the paneer quantity. Even after asking for a top-up, they only gave one small piece of paneer for the entire thali. It is very difficult to eat 3 tandoori chapatis with just one piece of paneer. This doesn’t feel reasonable for a proper meal. They also serve dal makhni, but it is basically meant only for the rice portion and not enough for chapati. The curd quantity was also very small. In the end, I had to finish my meal mostly with green chutney, which ironically was the only thing given in a decent quantity. There are many other restaurants in the Nangloi market area that provide better portion size and value for money, like Banke Bihari and DEL 41 where a customer actually gets enough food with the meal. Taste is good, but portion size needs serious improvement. A ₹200 thali should be enough for at least one person without having to struggle with the quantity.
