Anna's family restaurant promotes itself as a biryani house and as such we stopped there for lunch to give it a try. We were a group of 4 so we ordered 2 portions of mutton dum biryani, chicken crispy, and noodles. Biryani was an absolute let down and has to be one of the worst dishes i have tasted in a very long time. It was neither a biryani, nor a pulao, nor some type of fried rice (I have been cooking for years and a fan of biryani) so was disappointed beyond explanation. It was as if they had added some flavoured rice and cooked mutton pieces in a pan, added loads of masala and chilli, mixed it and then served. It was absolutely tasteless other than burning hot masala and chilly added separately. I am someone who absolutely hates wasting food, however, i could not finish 25% of what I had served myself. When we complained to the manager, he gave a weird reason about mutton biryani being not a running product and hence the quality is never good, however, chicken biryani is a running product and will have taste and quality??????????? The only reason why I have given 2 stars to the service is because they waived off the cost in our final bill amount after we expressed our utter disappointment with the food and the manager's comments. Most pathetic food no taste at all, very poor service . We ordered both Veg and Non-Veg and and received tasteless food
