Annapoorna is only about its food. Even at the Coimbatore airport, people from all parts of the world throng here, stand in lines or push their way through for a meal - or snack - from the legendary Annapoorna. And, the restaurant rarely disappoints. I loved the nai podi roast, loaded as it is with ghee and the delightful podi smeared inside. What disappointed me was the coconut chutney which had turned sour... It did not taste fresh at all. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
