I recently visited Anil Plaza in Guwahati, and overall, it was a below-average experience. Given its location, I expected a well-maintained commercial complex, but it fell short in several areas. Ambience & Maintenance The building looks decent from the outside, but once inside, it feels outdated and not well-maintained. The corridors are cramped, and some areas are poorly lit. The overall vibe is dull, and it lacks the energy and organization of a proper commercial hub. Shops & Facilities There are a few offices, small retail stores, and eateries, but the variety is limited. Many spaces seem underutilized or empty, giving the impression that the plaza isn’t fully thriving. If you’re expecting a proper shopping or leisure experience, this isn’t the place. Food & Dining There are some small eateries, but the options are quite limited. If you’re looking for a proper food court or good dining choices, this plaza won’t offer much. Service & Facilities One of the biggest drawbacks is the lack of proper facilities. The self-service kiosks at the back of the store didn’t work, which was inconvenient. The maintenance of common areas isn’t great, and even basic services like parking could be better organized. Final Verdict Anil Plaza feels more like an aging commercial building rather than a vibrant shopping or business hub. Unless you have specific work here, there’s not much reason to visit. It has potential, but without major upgrades, it remains a below-average experience. Would I visit again? Only if necessary.
