On Women’s day we visited ANGREZI DHABA which has many outlets in Mumbai and also all over India. We visited their Todi Mills Lower Parel outlet, restaurant has different vibe and gives a feeling that we are really in a DHABA. They have selfie point auto rickshaw. Now coming to food we had Welcome drinks Watermelon Mojito: it was refreshing drink made of watermelon juice, mint, with lime juice topped with ice. Fresh lime soda: The classic drink that gives maximum pleasure on sunny afternoon. Lime juice, little sugar, salt and soda in right proportions. It was refreshing drink. Chicken Kung poa: Chunky chicken pieces tossed with stir fry vegetables in Chinese sauce garnish with spring onion. It was delicious. Chicken Spring roll It was crispy outside, it was fully stuffed with finely chopped Chinese vegetables like cabbage, carrots, capsicum and French beans and shredded chicken. It was accompanied with spicy sauce. It was tasty. Asian Chili Potatoes. Potatoes chips crispy fried with bell pepper tossed in chilli sauce. It was tangy and crunchy. Paneer peri peri kebab: It had cubes of paneer marinated with peri peri masala and then grilled on charcoal along with cubed bell peppers, tomatoes and onion. It was served with veg salad. Main course Matka subji It was mix vegetable like french beans, carrots, peas in yellow gravy dum cooked in earthenware, It was flavorful. Chicken handi It was tender chicken pieces cooked in thin gravy dum cooked in earthenware. It was appetizing. Dal tadka: The dal was made with tomatoes and coriander, tempered with chillies and whole spices in butter it was flavorsome. We had it with jeera rice Desserts Chocolate golgappa with basundi shoots It is chocolate coated panipuri puri, stuffed with tiny brownie pieces and serve on small glasses containing Basundi. One has to pour the Basundi in chocolate puris and have it. It was unique combo, it was nice. Gulab jam; It was soft, served hot. It melted in mouth. Just superb.
