Checked out this place upon the recommendation of a friend who has been staying in the neighborhood for an year now. Fantastic chilly beef fry with poi. Had a chat with the owner who was a super friendly guy. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I went twice to Andron Restaurant and was disappointed about a few things. They don't serve lime soda and the only non alcoholic choice one has are carbonated colas or water. The food could be really nice if there weren't that super intensive salty sauce, which over kills the flavors of the dishes. To me it was tasting like a fusion of ready made sauces from the supermarket, loaded with MSG rather then authentic prepared Goan food. The place could be cozy if there weren't that super large TV in front of your face with some silly wrestling program. After my meal i was asking if i could smoke at the bar counter and was asked to do it outside. No complains about that, but a week earlier another client was smoking plenty of cigarettes at the bar counter while the restaurant was full of people. The Owner seems to be a really nice guy but overall it was a disappointing experience
