Visited Andhra Ruchulu in Mysore and tried their Curd Rice, Veg Biryani, Manchow Soup, and Full Meals. Overall, the experience was average and a bit disappointing compared to other branches. The Veg Biryani was the best among what we ordered—flavorful to some extent, though still could use a bit more of the signature Andhra punch. However, the Curd Rice was a big letdown—it lacked salt, and the rice wasn't properly mashed, making it quite unappetizing. The white rice served with the Full Meals was dry and not fresh. On the brighter side, the Manchow Soup was good flavorful and satisfying. Having tasted food from other Andhra Ruchulu outlets, the spice and authenticity just didn't feel the same here. If you're looking for authentic South Indian flavor, this branch might not live up to expectations. I Would recommend this place only if you're nearby and looking for a basic meal not for the true Andhra cuisine experience. We stopped here for lunch on the way from Ooty to Bengaluru. Unique place. Decorated as a customer feels that he is dining in an open dense forest. We reached about 3:25pm. The restaurant closes its day session at 3:30pm. We ordered in a hurry. But all the foods were warm and tasty. Andhra thali were also very good. The guava icecream with some chilli was really superb. We enjoyed our meal here. Andhra Ruchulu looks quite decent when you enter, but there are a few things to notice. The artificial greenery and interior design give a nice look, but when you look closely, there is a lot of dust on the tree leaves. There are also air cooler fans hidden inside the branches, which blow the dust down onto the food. So, you need to be careful while choosing a table. Tried the chicken biryani here, and the taste was good and satisfactory. However, the dusty environment made it a bit uncomfortable. This restaurant is inside The President Hotel, so there is plenty of parking space. The prices are reasonable, making it an okay choice if you don’t mind the surroundings.
