My 1st visit - Ordered a parcel yesterday and tried a few dishes — Pesarattu and Mysore Bhaji were authentic and tasty, while sambhar and coconut chutney were good too. However, Medu Vada lacked salt, tomato chutney needed more flavor, and Punugulu batter was a bit sour. As someone from Andhra, I really appreciate the effort toward authenticity. Just a little more attention to seasoning and batter freshness would make a big difference. ********************************************************. My 2nd most horrible experience ever - I had a disappointing experience with Andhra Ruchira hotel— not just due to undercooked puris in my puri bhaji order, but mainly because of how they handled my complaint. Despite being promised a refund over the phone (without me even asking), they stopped responding afterwards inspite me calling them several times. And their reply to this behaviour was "It is my wish whether to take your call or not" Shocking, isn't it? Wait for the next part... When I visited in person, the 3 ladies over there were rude, yelled at me, using bad language, recorded me, didn't let me speak at all and on top of it, they say I was creating a scene. It doidn't stop there, on of the lady threw the refund money saying, “Take your bloody money and get out.” They wanted to refund only for the puris, not the bhaji, even though it's an independent dish. To be fair, not all of their food is bad — some items are actually good. But the way they handled the situation was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Good service is just as important as good taste, and sadly, Andhra Ruchira hotel failed badly on that front. If something goes wrong with your order, esp. takeaways, don’t expect professional support. I strongly don't recommend such hotels where food may be good but the service sucks.
