This is a small restaurant meant to cater to the common people of anchal. The food is quite acceptable when considering the prices to taste. Quantity and quality too is on acceptable levels. I have had lunch, a normal meal with fish fry and found out that the side curries are all tasty. The ayala fish fry, was kind of like a tawa fry and it tasted great. The star of the show is quite easily the beef biryani, that came as a pothi, that is packed in a banana leaf. The warm moist biryani with infused banana leaf flavour was a delight and had enough beef and masala for the price. Definitely a great choice for lunch. Quite reasonable too. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend the restaurant to people above a certain standard of living... The clientele of this establishment includes people from all walks of life if you know what i mean... and also the owners of the restaurant do not engage in the daily management of the restaurant itself, giving free reign to certain employees to interact with and manage the customers. So both these factors combined translates to the employees being jaded, with a sense of entitlement & false superiority which comes with continued no-consequence interactions while dealing with people of 'all' levels, without any guiding supervision by the owners. Because they are salaried employees and don't have a stake in the profits or success of the restaurant itself, they do not care if you revisit the restaurant or not, especially the woman at the counter. So... I would not recommend this restaurant to you if you tend to expect a certain level of good manners and mutual respect from the employees at an establishment. I definitely won't recommend bringing your family to dine here. But if you want to order food to go, the food here is acceptable, even if the portions itself may not be.
