I had a truly disappointing experience with Anand Sweets – Bannerghatta. I placed an order for 1.5 kg of Dharwad peda through Zomato. Shockingly, 15 minutes later, I received a call from the store telling me to cancel the order because they simply won't send it. When I asked for a reason, the person kept repeating, “We can’t prepare it. Just cancel it,” with zero explanation or courtesy. This is absolutely unprofessional behavior and honestly feels like a scam. First, take the order, then refuse to deliver, and expect the customer to deal with the mess? To make it worse, Zomato initially tried charging me a cancellation penalty since I was the one cancelling after 15 minutes. I had to spend another 10–12 minutes explaining everything to them before they finally agreed to issue a full refund. Such unprofessionalism and lack of accountability is unacceptable—both from Anand Sweets and, to some extent, Zomato for enabling this kind of behavior. Anand Sweets, you’ve definitely lost a customer.
