Our Review : 4 / 5
The Anand Stall, situated in Vile Parle West, Mumbai, is a street food stall. It was established back in 1982 and has been adding spice to the lives of college students since then. It has its own variant with maska or butter, in which the pav is buttered and slathered with pudina chutney and doused with lemon juice and chili powder. It also serves Pasta dosa, Pizza Iamong other Indian twists to popular dishes. The masters of street food fusion in Mumbai have a game when it comes to their ‘West meets East’ dishes: we’re loving the ‘pizza dosa’ served at Anand Stall outside Mithibai College. The cheesiness, the freshness and how quickly we’re served the dosa. The fillings include the Mysore masala, veggies, oodles of butter topped with cheese shredding which is then ultimately cut up in pizza-sized bites. Frequented by students, residents and food lovers from all over Mumbai. The dosas are served only with chutney and no sambhar but the pizza dosa goes perfectly with the chutney. We bet you cannot stop at only eating one.
