Good butter chicken, breakfast sandwiches and paneer will impress you at the first bite. Delicious fruit juice or great tea are worth trying here. The friendly staff welcomes guests all year round. Nice service is something clients agree upon here. Prices are democratic for the quality you get. The calm atmosphere is to be found here. As for the Google rating, this restaurant received 4.1.

On the highway in Kolaghat, need to be alert to the service road diversion to get to this place. Although isn’t very tough, there are a series of such highway side eateries and they have a person posted at the front of each of these places to indicate people in to their restaurant. Fairly enough parking space. The man posted there helps you park. Expects a small tip. The entrance has a nursery. The toilets are fairly clean. No commodes though. Wash basins were not spin n span but fairly clean too with dispensable liquid soap. Food wasn’t great. The maggi we ordered for the kids was tasteless and avoidable. The tandoor wala alu parantha was a different item which we tried and found it nice. Best part was it was oil-less and made in tandoor like a stuffed naan. Comes with Raita and Chole sabji. Ordered plain curd separately and it was a good combo. Also tried chole bhature and puri sabji which were okayish nothing too great. Mineral water is at MRP. Well stocked resto with average food. Went there for breakfast on the way to Mondarmini. Not sure about other food items. The menu showed availability of various non-veg and veg dishes for lunch and dinner. Pocket pinch is reasonable and overtly expensive. Stopped by Anand Restaurant during a digha journey and only tried the veg sandwich and hot coffee. Taste-wise, both were decent and fresh, especially the sandwich – nicely toasted and loaded with veggies. The coffee was strong and comforting. However, the price felt a bit on the higher side considering the portion size and the overall setup. It’s clean and the service is good, but I expected a little more value for money. Good for a quick bite Slightly overpriced Wouldn’t call it a must-visit based on just these items, but if you’re in Kolaghat and want a short break with decent snacks, it’s a fair option.
