Overall a good place in Kolaghat for a stopover. Positives - Big parking space Clean washrooms Big, good seating area Variety of breakfast options and mostly we liked the food and keep coming back here instead of experimenting. Negatives - They ask for cash payment and if I am not wrong they have refused to take online payment. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ₹1–200 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Cheese Sandwich, Chole Bhature, Chicken Sandwich, Alu Paratha Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

Whenever we go somewhere, we take a stop here. Anand restaurant has become a spot for us during long rides . And this place never disappoints us. Their food is always warm n fresh This time we ordered: Chole bhature (the sabzi was oily a lil) Tandoori roti ( we asked for butter but they said it's in unavailable) Chilli paneer Shahi paneer ( it tasted too sweet to me though others appreciated it's taste Lassi (it's thicker than rest of the shop's lassi) Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Chole Bhature

This is a good option at Kolaghat while going from Kolkata towards Kharagpur, because Sher e Punjab and 6 Ballygunge Place are on the opposite side of the highway. The food is fairly decent and hygienic and the prices are almost incredibly low. In particular, there's a very nice nursery right outside the restaurant that's well worth a ten minute stroll.
