Unprofessional staff, poor quality food, bad service, and zero hygiene standards. This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Definitely not worth ₹200, not even ₹50 to be honest. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian options: Anand Bandhar Restaurant I visited Anand Bandhar last night and ordered their Special Thali which was priced at ₹200. The menu mentioned items like paneer, rice, chole, papad, etc., but what I was served was completely different—and honestly, quite disappointing. Instead of what was promised, I got masala baingan, mattar ki sabji, kadhi, dal, and 4 chapatis. The masala baingan was spoiled—it smelled bad and clearly wasn’t fresh. When I informed the staff, they completely ignored me and refused to even listen. I had to keep it aside. The mattar sabji was spicy but the peas were half-cooked and raw. When my mother tried to taste it to confirm if it was spoiled, a waiter rudely shouted at her, saying: “Madam mat khao, ek thali mein ek hi log kha sakta hai!” Seriously? What kind of weird, ridiculous rule is that? Then came the dal—absolutely inedible. It was overloaded with salt, so bad I couldn’t eat it and had to keep that aside too. I moved on to the kadhi, hoping something would be good—but it had no salt at all, completely bland. To top it all, when the thali was served, everything was cold, including the chapatis. Only the achar (pickle) was decent—literally the only edible thing on the plate. Parking space: Difficult to find parking Kid-friendliness: Extremely Disappointed with Ridiculous staff
