Anahata is a serene haven nestled in the heart of a quaint village in the Tirthan Valley. It serves as an ideal retreat for mountain enthusiasts, offering a perfect blend of sightseeing and trekking amidst the majestic Himalayas. The experience is made even more special by the care and warmth of the gracious host, Sunit Dere, and his ever-smiling, sweet helping hand, Nita Bhabhi. Their hospitality adds a deeply personal and enriching touch to your stay. The food at Anahata is another highlight, lovingly prepared and served, allowing guests to savor the flavors of local Himachali delicacies. For someone like me, venturing into the Himalayas after a long hiatus, a solo trip to Anahata was the perfect way to rekindle my passion for Himalayan trekking. It was, without a doubt, the best way to kick-start this long-lost journey. Thank you Mayuri Service: 5

Anahata is all about peaceful living in the mountains while still being connected to the outside world. The property is located in a beautiful village in Tirthan valley. You climb up for 15 minutes from the Honegad bus stop to reach the property which is surrounded by plum, apricot and pear trees. Since we reached in the harvest season, we were lucky enough to try fresh ripe plums. We stayed in Antkrish, the upper part of the house which had a small living space, a bedroom, and a beautiful balcony which presents amazing views of the sunset. We spent many nights stargazing from the balcony and saw many shooting stars. The bathroom is roomy, well equipped and clean. Everything is maintained very neatly and offers you a very comfortable stay. The host, Sunit, is very helpful and offers good guidance to reach the places around. With his recommendation, we visited many small villages in Tirthan and the experience was very rewarding. From Siddu to Pizzas, the food was homely, diverse and yummy. There is good and stable wifi, so you still feel connected to the rest of the world (if you want to). There are frequent buses to Banjar and Gurshaini if you are coming with a plan to explore different places within Tirthan and Jibhi. There are a lot of trekking trails accessible from the property which would take you through beautiful pine forests to places like Cheni Kothi. Would very surely recommend the place to anyone and everyone who is looking for a holistic mountain experience. Service: 5
