We visited Amritsar Haveli, Ranjit Avenue (SureStay Hotel) expecting authentic Amritsari food. Some of our guests were from other cities and were excited to try the famous Amritsari Aloo Kulcha. Since I have tried Aloo Kulchas from many places in Amritsar, I expected the same quality here. However, the experience was very disappointing: The Aloo Kulcha tasted more like aloo chapati, and the stuffing was similar to dosa aloo, not like real Amritsari kulcha. The chana was completely below expectations and not enjoyable. 30–40% of the food was left uneaten by most of us. Prices are too high for the quality served. Overall, the food quality does not match Amritsar’s reputation. Definitely not recommended for anyone looking for authentic local flavours, especially at this price. Mediocre at best. Only chicken menu for starters. Mutton main course lacked taste, salty and very small portion size without quality. If you want Haveli experience go Pathankot. 55 Rs mineral water too make it saltier. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹800–1,000
