Affordable stay option in market area, walking distance to famous tourist places like golden temple, Partition museum and Jallianwala bagh. Rooms are small in size but clean. Can be considered for short stay of 1-2 days. Service: 3

Amritsar Grand: Label Says “Grand level UP,” But It’s Actually a tiny and Level Down If you’re okay with dirty rooms, bad service, and a super crowded location, then this hotel might be for you. But for anyone else, avoid it. The hotel is in such a narrow lane that even taxis refuse to come there. Only a rickshaw can get through. From the outside, it doesn’t even look like a hotel. The reception is a mess—different people keep sitting there, and no one really knows who’s in charge. Staff say one thing, the receptionist says another. The rooms are in terrible condition. Walls are stained, desks are broken, bedsheets have marks, and the toilet smells and has stains all over (photos attached). There are no proper facilities, and the place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. There was a TV in the room, but it didn’t work. When I asked, they said the dish wasn’t working and they were fixing it. But after 24 hours, nothing changed. Clearly, they just don’t have a working TV connection. Breakfast is just a cover-up—tasteless, no hygiene, and very limited variety. Only basic items like bread, dalia, vermicelli, and poori chole (which didn’t even taste good). The dining room was also in poor shape, with water leaking from the ceiling while we were eating. Don’t trust the fake reviews or the photos online—the real condition of the hotel is completely different. What you see on the internet is far from reality. This place is not a real hotel. It’s dirty, unorganized, and poorly located. Save yourself the trouble—stay somewhere else. Service: 1

This is a genuine review after my stay at this fake 3 star lodging. The rooms were pathetic as we could see cracks in the walls at every corner. The floor looked like it was made of wooden logs but was not well maintained as it was sticky and slimy to walk on. We were given a "corner" room with AC and the only highlight of the stay was that the AC worked. The bathroom came with a showroom which occupied 80% of the area leaving little to no room to stand in front of the basin or to use the commode. Thankfully the water didn't seep out of the bath into the bedding area in our room but the others staying with us in different rooms had to deal with water seeping out into the bedding area! I don't even want to get started on the issues with food or cleanliness of the room/bath areas or with the quality of the mattress, the bed covers and the bed sheets. I'm just thankful that we carried a set with us and never used the ones they provided. When we complained to the travel agency the receptionist and the manager came to our door and banged it and asked who among us have complained and has problems. I really don't understand how Level UP or even the hospitality community gave them "3 stars" Service: 1
