The Grand Amrit in Chhatral is a fantastic spot if you’re craving rich Punjabi flavors while in Gujarat. It’s definitely worth the money, offering generous portions and authentic taste at a reasonable price. The place is usually crowded, which speaks volumes about its popularity — so a little waiting time is expected, especially during peak hours. Their thali is a must-try, packed with a variety of delicious dishes that leave you full and satisfied. The Aamras, especially during the mango season, is simply outstanding — thick, sweet, and refreshing. It’s one of the highlights of the meal. Though it’s a Punjabi restaurant, the way it blends into the local Gujarati vibe adds to its charm. The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a smooth dining experience even when the place is buzzing with customers. I went there with friends, and we had a great time relishing the food and soaking in the lively atmosphere.
