Visited Ammy's Coffee, Punjabi Bagh today evening. To begin with the positives—the food was good, the ambience pleasant, and the service was otherwise quick and efficient. Overall, it started off as a nice experience. However, one thing at the end really disappointed us and unfortunately took away from the otherwise good visit. When we asked for a simple glass of water, we were told that as per company policy, customers have to go to the counter and collect the water themselves, and that the staff will not serve water at the table. This was surprising, especially when food is being served at the table without any issue. From a customer’s point of view, people come to a café to relax, have conversations, and unwind. Pausing a conversation midway to walk to the counter just to get a glass of water feels unnecessary and inconvenient. Interestingly, if a paid water bottle is ordered, it is served at the table—so the logic behind not serving a regular glass of water is unclear. I did raise this concern with the staff, which led to a small argument, and sadly, what was a pleasant experience till then ended on a sour note—over something as basic as drinking water. I hope the management reconsiders this policy, because small things like these do affect the overall customer experience significantly. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
