I had a very disappointing experience with Amma's Pastries, Kothamangalam. I ordered a designer Iron Man-themed cake for my kid’s birthday. They confidently assured me they could make it, and I agreed to the high price of ₹2600. (including ₹700 for design) However, the cake they delivered was a different color, and the extra macarons I ordered (5 pieces for ₹250) were damaged. After cutting the cake, the colors stained our hands and wouldn’t wash off even after multiple attempts. Ordered flavor was vanilla-butterscotch, but it tasted more like mango. Overall, they didn’t follow anything they promised—wrong design, wrong color, wrong taste, damaged macrons, and even delayed delivery. Very disappointing and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I purchased red velvet cake from kothamangalam outlet. The cake was very poor quality. Just sponge cake in bright red colour.
