Had called Ammas, Kakkanad yesterday and ordered home delivery of Birthday Cake for today. They took all the details. Now, as the cake had not yet arrived at the said time, I called up their customer care. Their reply was "Your order has not been placed". The reason they told us is: "Bill is not paid". A bill was never sent to me in the first place. When a customer is calling the outlet and placing an order online, it's their team's responsibility to take the details, send the bill promptly and the customer will of course pay. Then, they need to ensure timely delivery. Here, the outlet people took the details, never sent any bill yet confirmed delivery will be done. As a customer, I relied upon them for my kid's birthday. Moreover, they never pick up phone calls or respond to messages properly. Their team is so uncourteous and irresponsible that, they have not fulfilled the Order and are giving audacious reasons. I don't understand what was stopping them from sending the bill yesterday and ask for the payment, if it's their procedure to first get payment. Why this half communication? You need to tell the customer what's needed to be done, right?. Otherwise, atleast you need to respond to calls and messages, right?. My son's birthday is ruined now because of their team. Ammas needs to give them proper training or keep responsible and courteous personnel for such tasks. This is not done Ammas! They are doing some serious damage to Ammas' name and reputation! Very bad experience with amma's Pastries in kakkanad.The cake design was very poor. Customer handling also not in proper way. Overall not satisfied with this shop...
