The overall quality of Amma’s pastry Arekere outlet has gone down , added to that I specifically asked for a fresh cake to be done , they gave me a stale one. they told it will be done in 15-20 mins , instead of waiting I decided to step out for some other work and was back in 10-12 mins and the cake was done. I was suspicious, on how fast the cake was done , but trusted the guys in the store. I got it home and wanted to keep it in the fridge for while , only to realise the cake and the base on which it was kept was already very cold. I called back the store and told them it’s cold , and does not look like it’s fresh , they insisted that the cake is made Fresh and it comes like that and they just put some chocolate on cold cakes ( chocolate truffle cake ) . This is the first time I hear that we freshly baked cake is cold.. additionally the cake also tasted very bad and was stale. Last few years we buy cakes pestries from this shop many times, then 5 days back when i bought some pestries, its dissapoint me so much. Very high price, too much sugary in test.
